What are Haemovit® Plus capsules for?
Iron-deficiency anaemia is very common around the world, especially for women with heavy menstruation and people who have poor nutrition or follow a vegetarian diet. Haemovit ® Plus capsules provide a high amount of Iron in the form of ferrous fumarate (which is gentle on the stomach) along with Vitamin C which helps boost the amount of Iron your body absorbs.
Vitamin B12 and B6 are added to the formulation as they are essential for cell replication and red-blood cell production, help release energy from food and play an important role in the production of DNA. Vitamin B12 also helps maintain neurological health and Folic Acid helps protect against birth defects. When Vitamin B12 and Vitamin B6 are taken with Folic Acid, they help process homocysteine and therefore may help lower the risk of heart disease and depression.

When should I take Haemovit® Plus capsules?
Haemovit ® Plus capsules should be taken as a supplement to provide the extra nutritional support required to meet the body’s needs during demanding periods. Women would mostly benefit from this supplement as many of them suffer from iron-deficiency. Haemovit ® Plus capsules should be taken with food to avoid stomach irritation due to the high Iron content.
