Glucosamine Chondroitin

A synergistic combination of glucosamine sulphate and chondroitin sulphate

Glucosamine is naturally present in the shells of shellfish, animal bones and bone marrow.

Since glucosamine is a precursor for glycosaminoglycans, and glycosaminoglycans are a major component of joint cartilage, supplemental glucosamine may help to prevent cartilage degeneration over extended periods.

Similarly, chondroitin sulphate is a major component of cartilage. The tightly packed and charged sulfates actually provides an electrostatis repulsion that provides much of the compressive resistance of cartilage.

The combination of glucosamine and chondroitin provide a recognised synergistic benefit for cartilage health.
